We have a bus that we are going to convert and are looking at living in it for a while (my husband is a saddlemaker and needs to travel to a lot of shows anyway). We have 3 kids and one on the way. Your bus is beautiful - now the pressure is on my DH to make ours as pretty :-)

Anyway, I am wondering where in WA you come to farm. We are in south central WA state. I would LOVE to see your bus (and your family!) in person and have my DH talk to Moss about how he did everything! (Plus it looks like our babies are around the same age? My baby is 10 mo. now.)

If you want, you can look us up at DH's website - www.sacredheartsaddlery.com and also e-mail us through there.

Wishing you well through all the legal nonsense. I wish you much strength, good, clear intuition, the best legal advice for this particular case and for it to be over soon.

Someone I love was recently represented by a lawyer who surfs and once defended Timothy Leary...He made it clear that his client, my loved one, needed to alter his appearance for court.

Had he not shaved, changed his hairstyle and worn a tie, the judge would have taken that as a sign of disrespect.
It would have worked against him...

Just something to consider.

be well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9132481.post-22760966337713847652008-02-01T19:14:00.000-08:002008-02-01T19:14:00.000-08:00Hello,Best of luck to you. Although he didnt do any time for it, we lost tons of money that we couldnt get back. It is a business and businesses are usually crooked. Anyhow, I read your blog and impressed with you and how you live your life. I am sorry that you have to experience such nonsense first hand. Keep your heads up--you are doing the right thing and I am proud that you will not consider a plea bargain.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9132481.post-8722373240367429122008-01-29T10:11:00.000-08:002008-01-29T10:11:00.000-08:00Oh yeah..Moss has a totally clean record. However, even the PD, who knows this judge well, said she would not be suprised if this particular judge did so.

As for a plea bargain..we are almost expecting them to offer. He will not accept it though. No way. He is innocent and will not sdmitt to something he did not do.Enchanted Gypsy ~ Tavel Diarieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11332050961667137651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9132481.post-9167764031329514422008-01-29T08:02:00.000-08:002008-01-29T08:02:00.000-08:00Hi, I love your art.. its beautiful. I love felt.
Good luck with the trial, get a good lawyer, don't bow to the system by being happy with what you have if you feel she isn't good enough. If you win you could get your money back. Its scary that system, so closed to the little people it is supposed to be defending in the first place. Courage!
love and lightAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9132481.post-81165726042695755192008-01-29T06:33:00.000-08:002008-01-29T06:33:00.000-08:00I really hate to say it, but the bailiff is correc...I really hate to say it, but the bailiff is correct. Courts don't work the way common sense says the should because there's as much ego wrapped up in the proceedings as there is "justice," if such a thing truly exists.

Don't worry though, Moss is NOT going to jail, unless he finds himself in contempt for mouthing off to the judge (they're rather uptight about that sort of thing). He's been booked on a misdemeanor and while you could be sent to jail on them, it's HIGHLY unlikely it would be unless he's got a long record of other offenses. My bet is he'll get probation and a fine, IF he's convicted. Don't be surprised, however, if they offer some kind of plea bargain that basically allows them to save the money of the trial but not appear to be giving up. Most cases are pled out.

Then you can get the bond money returned and get on with your life.

Hopefully, though, someone will pull their head out long enough to do what's right.Effortlessly Averagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17489062294151051942noreply@blogger.com
