Anti war demonstartors on state street..Santa Barbara.

Many hundreds of UCSB students take part in a demonstration, sleeping outside, overnight on state street, in an effort to bring awareness to the plight of Ugandas children. Tens of thousands of demonstrators, in many areas of the u.s, also took part.

Our dear friends Jason (human) and Dakota. Four years ago they gave up all worldly posseions, built a cart, and togeher began walking to california. We met them in santa barbara and shared many wonderful sunsets, on the beach engaged in conversation. They are now walkng north to see the redwoods.

I love the way windows on the bus create little framed sort of pictures, that change, depending on where we park. This is the picture created when parked for the night on the side of the road next to a gorgeous meadow.

So may wonderful ways to experience life !!

We have added another battery box and five gel batteries to our solar electric system.

Computer Down AGAIN...

Just another quick note to say that Moss and I are not dead and that, yes, once again we are having computer problems. I am writing this from a pay internet machine in Santa Barbara. Our computer should be fixed soon and I will post an update detailing our adventures within the last month.
